How to play The Kings Cup:

The idea of the game is to sit in a circle around a table, with the empty cup in the middle. The cards are spread around the cup, to form a loose circle. Each player takes turns picking a card. Each card has a consequence for the players.

Ace – Waterfall! Everybody starts drinking. The player who picked the card can decide when he/she wants to stop. When the first player have stopped, the next one gets to decide when to stop. This continues around the table until it reaches the last player.

Two – The player who picked the card can choose someone who has to drink.

Three – The player who picked the card have to drink

Four – All the ladies drink

Five – The player who picked the card have to do a danse move. The next player must repeat the danse move and add a new one. This chain continues round the table until someone messes it up. The player who messed it up must now drink.

Six – All the guys drink

Seven – The player who picked this card can save it and use it at any given time. The card is used by placing your finger on the side of your nose. When this happens, all other players must do the same as fast as possible. The last player to do so must drink.

Eight – The player who picked this card gets to pick a drinking buddy for the rest of the game. Each time the player who picked the card have to drink, the buddy must drink the same amount with him.

Nine – The player who picked the card must start a chain of riming. You can either choose a single word or a full sentence. The first one who messes up has to drink.

Ten – Category! The player who picked the card gets to choose a category. Everyone must now take turns mentioning something in that category, which could be things like alcohol, animals or types of diving equipment. The first one who can’t continue the chain or repeats something that have already been said must drink.

Jack – ’Never have I ever’. All players puts 3 fingers up in the air. The player who picked the card starts the round by saying something they have never done. If anyone have done this, they must put down a finger. The game continues like this, until someone have put down all three fingers.

Queen – Questions! The player who picked this card can ask anyone a question, but they are not allowed to answer or laugh. If they do so successfully, they ask another player a question. The more vulgar or absurd the questions are, the bigger is the chance for the other player to react to it. The game continues until someone fails at keeping a straight face.

King – If a player gets the king, they must stick the card to their forehead – the easiest way to do so is to lick the back of the card. The player with the king gets to decide a rule. If a new king is picked, the former king and rule is replaced. If the rule of the king is broken, the player doing so must drink. The first three players who gets a king, can fill anything they want in the cup in the middle of the cards. The fourth player who gets a king ends the game by drinking the entire content of ‘The Kings Cup’.
